The top picks of the third annual Kansas Farm Bureau Photo Contest, sponsored by the KFB Young Farmers and Ranchers, have been selected.

The winners included a photo entitled “Misty Morning" taken by Sadie Kratzer of Lincoln County.

The winning photos were chosen among 55 entries and will be displayed Friday, Nov. 20, at the Kansas Farm Bureau annual meeting in Manhattan.

Attendees to the KFB Annual Meeting will vote to determine the People's Choice winner.

“This contest proves there's some real photographic talent on Kansas farms and ranches," said Derek Sawyer, a McPherson County farmer who chairs KFB's Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee. “We're thrilled that so many participated in this friendly competition and we look forward to next year's entries."

Photographers entered their work in one of three categories: Natural Beauty and All in a Day's Work. There was also a separate category for youth.

Cash prizes are awarded for first, second and the People's Choice awards and each finalist also gets a framed award of their photo.
